After we had decided on our plot and made a storyboard, we moved on to filming. Using the cameras provided by our school, skye, Jack and I headed to our schools sports courts. we filmed each shot systematically so we didn't miss any parts out.

We were very excited to start the first practical element of our AS level course and wanted to try out as many different camera shots as we could so we knew what worked and what didn't. We struggled at first getting our filming done around 30 loud PE students, but once their lesson had finished, we had the courts to ourselves to knuckle down and get all our filming done, we also had to keep reminding ourselves not to break the 180 rule which we found especially difficult when filming the shot-reverse-shot.

Filming the Preliminary Task

We encountered some problems along this filming process, these included:

> camera running out of battery - We kept the tripod at the same angle so that there would be no continuity errors and charged the camera back up before returning to filming

> One of our clips hadn't filmed - We went back out on the courts and re shot this particular clip.

Overall, throughout the filming process we found that we worked really well together as a group, we were efficient and managed to overcome all the problems we encountered. We made sure we got all the filming done as quickly as possible without feeling rushed, as this meant there was no light change that would cause continuity errors.
