Now it was time to start thinking of ideas for our 2 minute film opening, we had chosen our genre of Action/Drama and now faced the tricky task of coming up with a plot.

Initial Thoughts:

> Target Audience - Teens / Peers

> Main Character - Teenager

> Chase Scene

> Perhaps a Kidnapping

> Themes of drugs/drug use/dealing

Synopsis

After having these initial thoughts, we looked in a newspaper to see if any articles caught our eye that could give us some more inspiration.

Newspaper Article:

> 'Teen leads secret life in drug cartel'

> Leaves home to head for school and on the way goes to sell/buy drugs, gets chased by a group of gangsters, then wakes up in a dark room tied and gagged.
