My AS level Media journey
This was the first practical element of our media course, my group; Jack, Skye and I began to develop ideas for our preliminary task.
The clip must contain a few line of dialogue and a range of different shots, including shot-reverse-shot and match on action.
Our Initial Ideas Included:
> A kidnapping
> A Basketball Scene
> A person entering a lift
> A person entering a room and having a conversation with a friend
Planning the Preliminary Task
We decided on the idea of a basketball scene to make the most of our school's sports facilities and we also felt this was the idea that had the most potential.
In our clip we hope to include:
> Close up shot
> Slow motion shot
> Low Angle Shot
> Wide Angle Shot
> Dialogue
> Non-Digetic sound
As this was our first practical piece, we wanted to experiment with camera angles and editing as much as possible so we knew what worked well and could be used in our final piece.
